Pastor - Rev. Jacob Deal

Rev. Jacob deal was born and raised in the Luna Pier, MI area. He and his wife have been in the LC-MS their entire life. Since a very young age Jacob desired to be a missionary with the Lord’s Gospel. He pursued the office of the Holy Ministry with much encouragement from his parents and in-laws. He received his Bachelors in Communication from the University of Toledo in 2012. He graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, in May of 2016. He was ordained and installed at Saints Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church on June 18, 2016. The Lord has provided him and his wife Anna with three wonderful children, Isaiah, Titus, and Loretta. He typically writes for Brothers of John the Steadfast. You can read those articles here.

Secretary - Diane Riefstahl

Diane was raised in North East, PA where she was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. Having transferred her membership to Sts. Peter and Paul, she has remained at this congregation for the last 15 years serving in various capacities. A former French and English teacher in the Brookfield, OH school district, Diane became a secretary here in 2015. She delights in helping this congregation and the community of Sharon. 

 

Why are we here? "To spread the Kingdom of God, and to encourage the spiritual growth of the members through the preaching of the Word of God, the administration of the Sacraments, and the Christian education of children, youth, and adults according to the Confessional standards of the Evangelical Lutheran Church."
